This is a comparison between the Cooler Master V8 and Corsair H50 cpu cooler. In my previous video comparing the two, my methods weren't that great. I'm using it on an Intel Core i7-860 cpu overclocked to 3.4GHz. Enjoy.

  • lol my h50 rides my coolermaster like a bitch. wayyy cooler, you fucked something up - sorry.

  • @firetruckracer What are you running and what are your temps? Please do a video so we could see what you're doing and to help the rest of us out. And so I know where I F'd up. Thanks.

  • @civixboi i5-750 (2.66ghz basic) using all four cores 100% on prime95 i get 59c. idle nomrally 36c - full specs.

    MSI Twinfrozr GTS250 / R5770HD

  • @firetruckracer By the way it sounded like, I thought you had your cpu overclocked. But since you have it at stock clocks, your temps don't mean nothing to me. Sorry.

  • When I watched one of your videos for the first time, I was like... Oh crap, here comes some ghetto business. But I was totally amused by your videos man. Pro!

  • @timdietz88 Thanks for watching. I'm glad you were amused.

  • dude you're crazy! 1.344V is too much for 3.4 GHZ! i've got 1.344V for 3.9 GHZ. lower your voltage.

  • It sounds like user failure not corsair h 50 failure.

  • yeah i have the V8 on my Core I5 2500K and im getting idle temps of 30 C much cooler. I don;t get anything near 80 C for full load. So something about his setup i s not right. He probably doesnt have enough airflow in his case.

  • Man, I'm ordering the V8 tomorrow, I don't know why the H50 is shit for OC like this but its really disappointing. I tried push pull too and no luck. Thanks for the video.

  • @firetruckracer

I have a buddy with the V8 who gets temps at around 51 with Q6600 clocked at 3.6 on stress. Im on an H50 getting around 55 Q6600 clocked to 3.0.

Whats your config and how are you running your fan?

  • It's just hard to believe ur h50 had temps over 90C , I have a i5 2500k overclocked to 4.7ghz and using prime 95 for 24hrs the temps only got to 68C max. The overclock I used was from PCwizkids channel. It must just be a bad item u got cause my h 50 flat out rocks. It's in a coolermaster haf 912 case also just in case u was wondering

  • 90C.. Doesn't look ok to me..

  • Im sorry but does anyone else think this guy sounds like an idiot? You need to look into better overclockin bro...or just use the auto lol

  • Everything he says he checked was related to the FAN... Did he ever think that the water block may have needed to be re-seated, That's happened to me before... If the heatsink isn't completely flat and level on the CPU you are gonna get high temps

  • @1974dragonkiller that doesn't matter... He is t looking for optimal results he's looking for a comparison between the two... As long as he tested both coolers under the same conditions it's fair. If he applied the paste for 2 minutes on both units and used the same paste on both units (no matter it's quality)
