I can only commend you on your video. I have been looking for a portable beam for 20m and this may do the job. I am sure that once the boom is setup this can be erected quite easily

Setting up the antenna can be done easily within 10 minutes: Connect the two halfes of the boom, mount the four crappie poles with cable ties and tie the wire elements together - ready for the smoke test!

Hello Stefan, frohes neus Jahr nachträglich noch!
Schaut sehr gut aus was Ihr das gemacht habt. ausser dem kräfitgen RX im FT1000MP würde mich interessieren wie laut der Beam ist im Vergleich zu was du vorher benutzt hast.
Ich hab noch ordentlich Platz auf der Ranch zum des eine und andere Testen.
Dein English fand ich übrigens auch gut wie Du alles erklärt hast bei Montage...good job, dude.

Hi Kirk,
thanks for the feedback! This beam shows very good front-to-back and front-to-side rejection. Expect 2-3 s-units improvement compared to a dipole thanks to the low radiation angle. If you need a good antenna project for the winter: This is it! :-)
