On the heels of being asked if she would ever be President of the United States in Thailand, Hillary Clinton tells David Gregory: "I have absolutely no belief in my mind that that is going to happen." She said she is so focused on being Secretary of State, and she has "moved on."
Run, Hillary, run!!! Obama is sinking faster than the Titanic.

@beawild you're right. 1993 should have been easier. the obstructionism of the current repubs is far worse. and, speaking of perspective, please don't repeat the idea about a majority. if you don't have 60 in the senate, you don't have a majority. by the time the final vote came, the dems didn't have 60. before then, they didn't really either, not when you have to count a guy who endorsed the other party's presidential candidate, spoke at their convention and was nearly their VP candidate.

@tishhead
2010 was not 1993. A little historical perspective would help. Obama didn't even try fighting for the public option when the Democrats had the majorities in both the House and the Senate.

@beawild yeah, it shows. he has gotten more done in 2 years than most presidents have done in 4 or 8. he got health care reform through, as watered down as it was, where hillary and bill failed. let's face it, on policy, obama and clinton were virtually identical. voters took their measure of who they were and how they ran their campaigns. hillary had every advantage at the start and she and her team blew it, plain and simple. they were outworked and outthought.

Hillary should have been our president. Obama was not ready, he had never ran anything. He had served in the senate less than 2 years before he ran for president. He was the least experienced candidate in 99 years and it shows.

I absolutely love her. Everyone was making all this noise about what an elegant speaker Obama is and how that's what makes him so wonderful. But I always thought Hilary was a much more eloquent speaker and always came off as knowledgeable about whatever topic she was asked a question on. She NEVER needs a teleprompter.
