Flamingos For Famine - You've Been Flocked

http://www.FlamingosForFamine.com - This year to encourage adults to support the youth of LifeWay Church in the 30 Hour Famine we are launching a new and exciting fundraiser that fits well with the theme of Holy Mischief. The fundraiser involves flocks of flamingos converging on the lawns of church members, family members, and maybe even your friendly neighbors!

Here is how it works: You call the church office (253-517-8630) and donate $15 and our wonderful teens will take a flock of pink, plastic yard flamingos and then place them in the yard of your choice, along with a notice to the offended party that they have been Flocked. If you find your front yard flocked, then you can donate $20 and our youth will return, remove the flamingos and relocate them to the yard of your choosing! For those with flamingo-phobia, there is also the option to buy flamingo insurance, which protects you from a flocking (that is unless there is an act of God, or someone buys out your insurance. lol).

All donations will be passed on to the World Vision 30 Hour Famine and the money will be used to feed needy children around the world! There you have it, and we look forward to visiting your yard in the middle of the night!

Flamingos are landing March 18, 2010 and flying back home April 30. Your last opportunity to sign up for this will be no later than April 22.
