Diesel loco hauled express trains are alive and well in Ireland. Here we ride in the cab of a class 201 General Motors' built loco at the head of a state of the art set of MK4 rolling stock with streamlined DVT at the rear. Plying between the Republic of Ireland's two largest cities this is their premier main line, double track throughout. We also follow the progress of our train from the CTC in Dubline (Central Traffic Control).
