ok so fleet foxes is still on high rotation at my house and this song is an absolute pearler! my interpretation is a fair bit slower than the original and obviously waaaay more stripped back. i know lots of people talk about this song being their favourite on the album, and seeing as no-one has covered the song on youtube yet (as far as i am aware), i thought i would put one on.

in the chorus it used to be in the early recordings "as you lay to die beside me baby im the one in the shootin' game" but they changed it when recording the album so it's " as you lay to die beside me baby on the morning you came" all the lyric sites are wrong at the moment

Your version is far too warbly...this is quite possibly my most favourite of all the Fleet Foxes tracks, and although your effort is admirable, your execution leaves something to be desired. I'm not suggesting I could do any better, far from it, but I also know what I like musically, and this does not fulfill the requirements. And of course as others have mentioned the chorus is not as you sing it. Investigate Shearwater - The Snow Leopard, that I think you would nail with your style.
