play a game without cd

from this tutorial, i use the daemon tools software just to insert the disc file which is iso.file to the available daemon tools dvd drive..
what am i doing in this tutorial are..
1. actually i already have full install my red alert 2 game including its crack.. then, when it comes to play the game, i insert a game disc and it will play normally..
2. after a while, my cd had nearly loose its function (many crack on cd), my game sometimes lagg.. so that, i use the daemon tools sofware to overcome this problem..
3. first, i inserted the cd is into my cd/dvd-drive.. then i use the "make ISO" to make the iso.file from cd which means i create another same disc file in my computer..
4. after i have succesfully made the iso.file, i just put the image into the daemon tools.. then there are two play game discs in my cd/dvd-driver.. so, i just can remove my red alert 2 disc from my cd/dvd-drive..
5. to make the ISO file, there are many other software which can make ISO from cd and not only this daemon tools..

@gTauTomaTisch serial number for games usually are given. from the tutorial, i just showing how to play games without inserting the game disc. and there is no serial number required in this tutorial
