haha try having to ladle color contamination out of an 800 pound furnace bro. luckily the heavier metals in the color will eventually cause it to fall to the bottom of the crucible. shoot me a msg on where you are located. im sure there's folks somewhere by you that can help ya achieve this.

@Dierwolf2000 With my luck I'd be dropping stuff into the crucible all the time. Plus, then I have to be able to afford one...

get a small crucible furnace and heat off it instead of a hole.

get a 20 pound crucible and put it in a kiln, easily and often done. or at least it used to be.
