  • @LemonPieLoL fully agreed, I love arch because of its package manager (pacman) and the way it handles user packages from the AUR it makes my life easier thats for sure. how would you rate your experience with Gentoo, is it worth trying out?

  • @rflood89 Arch is ok. The build system is a little under-polished. My point was that apart from the init systems, package manager, and the inclusion/exclusion of a build system, most distros are the same. It is very possible to use Arch in a similar way to Gentoo; it just takes a little more configuration.

  • yeah, I like to use it when I'm in the bath, the version I use is called voodoo nigger

  • @gravisan same, but you can easily customize it using Lua

  • how does this compare to xmonad?

  • my rc.lua > then urs

  • I'm curious what file manager is that in blue? is it midnight commander?

the blue menu items at the bottom make it look like something different....

  • @LemonPieLoL its matters to me lol :P are u usin arch? if not you should

  • Nice! Just downloaded it.
