Jerry Falwell claim 9/11 was caused by gays

CNN's Christiane Amanpour has produced a new series of documentaries titled "God's Warriors" which "examines the intersection between religion and politics and the effects of Christianity, Islam and Judaism on politics, culture and public life." In this preview, Amanpour talks with the late Rev. Jerry Falwell shortly before his passing, about his fight against abortion and confronts him on his disgusting claim that 9/11 was caused by America's tolerance of homosexuals. It also looks at other christian zealots who have bombed abortion clinics and murder doctors who perform them in the name of religion.

Wasn't this nation founded on Christian Beliefs? Wasn't it the Christians who brought the Word "God" to this part of the Hemisphere? But as they as they say "Ignorance is Bliss". Let me educate you a bit. Word "Talib" in certain languages(and you know of none) means "Student". Word "Taliban" is plural to "Talib" meaning "Students". How can Jerry Falwell be a "Taliban" when he was "One" person?

I see a lot of people quoting the bible here. Truth is the bible has no legal significance in a court of law. In the US, we have separation of church and state. I believe that people like Jerry Falwell are truly the American Taliban. I'm so glad he isn't here.
