@jigsaw99 3wks later from your comment, and the Leafs are in a much better state - thanks to the future prospects Burke got from Beauchemin and Kaberle trade. Leafs are in a playoff race all of a sudden. sure, this team might not make it. i dont think any Leaf fan is planning a parade downtown; but i think the future is bright. Colborne, if all goes well, will develop into a power forward. and it seems Burke eyed the Gardiner kid to be a bright d-man.

lol that's the type of thinking which makes leafs fans loser. Kessel is not what the Leafs need at this stag of their organization. Burke thinks he can make the playoffs with the team he have and he was wrong. seguin is going to be a much better player down in the future. you can't think like that saying that top picks are going to end up as bust anyways. look how much the leafs are milking their top draft picks such as schenn and kadr. the rest of the league has way better prospects.

If you were a Maple Leafs fan you'd actually understand why Bozak signed here. Of course money is one main thing, he did get the max. The other thing is that the Leafs are in "rebuilding" mode, if I'm a touted prospect, I want to look at the team where in the future , the team looks promising, Toronto may be shit now but in a year or two they are going to be a playoff threat.

you guys need to shut the fuck up, leafs in the years to come even next year will be great, anyone who don't like a decision or two arent real fans they are making the leafs better and they know it alot of people know it and i know it, if you don't like new people and changes to the rite now "spoiler leafs" then your not a fan....they will be great, they are not only looking for muscle they also look for someone who can score etc.
