grandcherokee94 is right...if you spin the tires fast and crazy like that your just going to dig yourself deeper and your tires won't grip the mud..you have a much better chance in 4lo and not going crazy on the gas

This is a perfect example of why automatics shouldn't be used for mudding. Leave it to the manuals to get you out of "sticky" situations.

Sometimes, you need to keep the tires spinning to clean the mud out of the treads.. Usually you want to have a little forward momentum at the same time though.
