We are loosing another battle - America! The Oil gushing in the GOM is not the problem... It's our Politically Partisan Government. Our Elected have prostituted their Constitutional Oath for revenge and money. It would be better if the gusher was in the center of the Capital Building in DC than in the GOM.

@haiyaku333 I also heard that fishing will resume within a week or two. The dispersant really worked. What remains to be seen is, will customers buy the seafood?

The latest report is that

"Tests of a giant tanker refitted to scoop up oil spilled in the Gulf of Mexico have been inconclusive because of high seas, operators said."

So the delay was caused by God given weather, not D.C., not the Coast Guard.

Facts are troublesome to some folks, who prefer opinions . . .

The reason for the hold up of the "A Whale" was due to Hurricane Alex. It was waiting for the approval that it was safe. Sure its a huge ship but do remember even the biggest ships can't deal with hurricane force water conditions.
