Mass Effect 2 Project: Overlord (Part 1 of 5)

Hello! Okay, so i'll be upfront, this is my first real video editing project... it took me a while to edit it, and make it interesting (i cut about a half hour of walking around blindly out of it), but it's here :D

When i started recording this, it was mostly out of boredom. I just opened up Fraps, and started recording when the mission got interesting. Then i realized i might be able to make this into a video, and here's the result... it is rough around the edges, but i tried. There's only so much you can do with video from a guy playing a mission he's never seen before! My next video should be a lot smoother :)

Anyway, Project Overlord is probably one of the most exciting/creepy missions in the game. It's a DLC package that doesn't come with the game, but i highly recommend that you guys get it if you're a ME2 fan; you won't be disappointed! The only level that's better than this one (In my opinion that is), is the last mission of the game.

This video is the first part of a 5 part series. I cut it up at seemingly odd places so that it would run smoother, so just watch through the playlist! It's about 42 minutes long, and hopefully, interesting to you guys :) Let me know what you think!

Can someone with a 16:9 screen tell me if there are bars on the top and bottom of the video? I'm using a 16:10 screen, so it made editing it, and trying to make it fit youtube kinda odd.

@DragonTamer2345 I'm not sure what screen I have, but I do see black bars on the top and bottom during cutscenes, but I don't see any problems with them. Also, during the cutscenes, black bars appear on the top and bottom, so I don't think it's a problem with the resolution, so I think you're all good.

@DroneElite4862 Thanks, i get the black bars in game too. That's just my odd resolution monitor at work

I'll get a 1080p monitor. Someday. *Sigh*

@DragonTamer2345 I think every version of Mass Effect 2 has black bars, I have it too, but I only see it during cutscenes.

I don't have it in game, but when i was recording the video, it recorded at the resolution of my screen, so i was worried there might be black bars on the top and bottom of some screens in addition to the ones at the side due to the conversion from my monitor's resolution to youtube's.

i dunno if its my copy but the textures of the floor in this dlc is looks like its from ps1 no joke, its really pixellated and looks like shit compared to the rest of the game. does anyone else have this problem on the PS3 version?

man i play this game now on ps3 and i luv it, its so hot.... im right now also at project overlord =).
