i think thats thats what makes otacon such a wonderfull character even thought the other characters get happy endings they have a deppresing outlook on life that will never change. otacon never lets himself give up hope for a better tommarow. if he didnt i dont think he whould have lasted very long helping snake. he is in my opinion one of the most nobel characters in the series

Man back in June 13th, 2008 i shit myself (lol) that we're gonna go back in shadows moses i wasl like WTF WE'RE GONNA GO BACK KOJIMA-SAMA I LOVE YOU, when otacon re-awaken MG Rex in almost 10 years and i though Rex was destroyed cuz we destroyed REX i was like "WTF otacon how u awaken REX shit no wonder why both Granin and huey (otacon father) are so damn genius to make such powerful MG than RAY, Shagohod, RAXA and Zeke, otacon ur a true MG creator"!! Thats why REX is the king of all MG!!

@puffyheaven lol if sunny die which it means otacon willl likely commit suicide and raiden will gone ultra nuts and start killing everyone in sight no matter who you are even if ur woman and snake will feel depressed over loss for otacon in years.

@thestamp21 Otacon wasn't raped by his mother. His dad remarried, Emma was his half sister, and Otacon was having an affair with his sisters mother/dad's wife.

@karlosexpert this is my one issue with mgs4 apart from Raiden.
If this is the last mgs with snake then there is no reason why not to give Otacon a happy ending and have him be with Naomi.
It just doesnt make sense to me Wolf and his sister dead yet they cant give him a final happy ending like every1 else.

Especially if you also take into consideration the life Naomi has had with her brother and parents dead.
Even Otacon was raped by his mother or something like that as explained in mgs2.
