Saw Steve in Dallas last summer. He honored his friend in the most touching way. He stood on stage and just opened a vein. Amazing show.

Thank God For Townes Van Zandt. It was waitin' round to die that sold me on this honest man. Yeah, like many others willie & merle led me here. That's allright. They Showed many folks the way to Townes music along the way.

Hilarious! Well the filmmakers should be thankful they were punished by having to film Townes. :) It's what made the whole movie.
