This man was caught in August of 2010 with a bag full of fish he'd caught in Prospect Park lake (where the policy is "catch and release"). When confronted, he nervously dumped the dead and dying fish back into the lake. An article appeared in the Courier that showed a picture of the man, as well as one of the 40 dead fish floating in the water. Today, a friend and I confronted him and demanded he abide by the park rules. I inspected his hook to try to determine if he was using a barbed one, illegal in the park, but (unfortunately), he had a poor, writhing worm impaled on it, and it was not clear.
After reminding him about the park's strict "catch and release" policy, we watched him for quite a while. Fortunately, he was unlucky today, and didn't catch anything while we were there.
We also alerted the other fisherman to look out for this creep and make sure he follows the rules.
ya ya how do you know that he killed 40 fish ??? did u count them ??? and why say that they have cameras on the trees ? they dont have a shit there !!!

@petroFDR , Yes, we counted them. I belong to a group that patrols the park. You have no idea what we have or do not have.
