  • In what way was Marilyn a fake? So she wore make up, tight clothes and dyed her hair. So do a lot of people. How natural do you want her to be? Marilyn was an actress in the fifties who remains relevant today as more than a symbol, a way to sell cheap meat. She fought hard to be taken seriously as a true artist AND a beautiful, sexual woman. Shame some people still have a Madonna/whore complex and deny her the right to be seen as the complex, interesting human being she was.

  • HAVE YOU MET HER? If she was the bitch you're talking about, she wudnt have been a legend. SHUT UP! Love MM, soooo much.

  • I was obsessed with this commercial as a kid! Unfortunately this video is very grainy and the first part is cut out but it was a very well filmed and produced commercial. It was actually shot on Phillip Street in Sydney, Australia. The real street looks nothing like that. They completely dressed it up to make it look like 50's NY. The theatre, McDonalds, shops, signs, even the grill she stands on - none of it is actually there! Susan Griffiths also did a brilliant job. A perfect Marilyn

  • Marilyn really liked the Big Macs!!!!

  • oh mcdonalds existed at time? lol

  • which pixel is Marilyn?

  • uhmmm.... okay, what did I just watch?

    She was a goddess that can never be replaced by anything or anyone. Not even the actresses of today. The fact that she is used in this commercial shows that she really left a mark. Even with a life as short as hers. And that says something. Really does.

    I am proud of her.

    But using her image in a fast food ad... that's a LITTLE tacky of them ;)

  • @Muribelle Thank you :}

  • @IrishSeve well said!!

  • Another company making profits by using Marilyn! Tacky!

  • damn she look just like marilyn!

  • @hopishimaruku 'Candle in the Wind' by Eltom John from the 'Yellow Brick Road' album, '79 I think.
