Grace For Drowning' is the second album released under Wilson's own name, and builds on the artistic inroads he forged with 2009's exceptionally well-received 'Insurgentes.'

Press for Grace for Drowning is unanimously positive:

'An album that can't really be described but it urgently calls to be heard'
Classic Rock

'Wilson's ability to create music so prodigiously and to such consistent standards remains a mystery. With his second solo album, the Porcupine Tree leader has done it again.'

'an immersive, ambitious project that demands repeated spins'

'A dense yet extremely coherent album Grace For Drowning succeeds brilliantly... Prog album of the year'

  • Hell of a show in London, i travelled 1300.21 miles to see Steven Wilson...

  • Saw him in New York. It was so amazing. I'm convinced now that his solo work surpasses anything he has done in Porcupine Tree.

  • Undoubtedly the most talented progressive musician

  • Steven Wilson's solo tour offered an experience that no video or audio recording will ever be able to capture.

  • @CristianTejadaU Do you like them better because of the lyrics or because of the music? I usually judge on the merits of the compositions and quality of sound than I do with the lyric's meaning. And to me, the sounds that appear on GFD I approve over any PT album because everything just seems spot on. Hell, I prefer Insurgentes over all PT albums.

    Just my point of view.

  • @BeingBadAtMaths I´ll have to disagree with you, Porcupine tree is such amazing music, maybe Grace for drowning is better than the last 3 cd of Porcupine tree....but Sky moves sideways, Stupid Dream and Lightbulb sun are such good albums....

  • @MsVYND The coming up show of SW is going to be on DVD i think

  • 0:05 "fuck you, london"

  • @MsVYND I believe I read somewhere there is a DVD coming (will take a big while though I guess)

  • damn this is creapy

    and awesome

    and twisted

    and lovely

  • @BeingBadAtMaths I don't know about that, but at least, I think anyway, it equals what he has done with Porcupine Tree.

  • The Ram's Head Live concert was a top 3 concert for me.
