I have pro tools, acid, and Cake Walk. Mixcraft is great for hip hop. A lot simpler to lay down the song and create loop production cds, with your own loops created in mixcraft.

But how to hook my Yamaha PSR1500 with mixcraft to get the ME80 Tutorial sound that Mixcraft 5 pro studio offers!!!or any of the other sounds

You say the ME80 comes bundled with Mixcraft Pro Studio 5? Then how come I haven't got it in my lineup? In my list, it jumps straight from "Lounge Lizzard Electronic Piano" to "Messiah"!!! I installed the FULL setup (~600MB). Do I need to do something else?

I think this program smokes all others. I have Cakewalk, Orion, and Acid. It is amazing how cheap it is, and I have not ax to grind, nor am I hyping Mixcraft. It's ez to use, and is loaded with features. Other synths may sound better, but this is the total package!

Is this VST very CPU intensive? Great tutorial for ME80 and really for any CS-80 admirer btw!

Is Mixcraft 5 worth the money? I have Mixcraft 4 and I'm wondering if this is REALLY worth it. Cause asides from this nice synth, it looks roughly the same.

@CriticsConfession This is one synth in Mixcraft Pro Studio 5 which is the pro version. Mixcraft 5 has a ton of new features. Search Youtube for 'Mixcraft 5 - A First Look!' Unfortunately, I cannot post the link due to Youtube not allowing linking.
