Jaguar XJ75 Concept Walk Around

To celebrate their 75th anniversary, Jaguar unveiled the XJ75 Platinum Concept at the Pebble Beach Concours D'Elegance.

Based on the XJL Supercharged, the XJ75 features Satin Matte Pearlescent White paint, black accents, an aerodynamic body kit, a trunk-mounted spoiler, and 22-inch alloy wheels.

Inside, the cabin boasts leather seats with diamond suede inserts, pearlescent white trim, a bespoke Bremont clock, and a 1,200-watt Bowers & Wilkins sound system.

According to the XJ's Chief Designer, Giles Taylor, "From a pure design perspective, the XJ75 Platinum Concept is foremost about emphasizing the striking proportion and presence of the new XJ, with a distilled black and white theme, which conjures up the sense of precious platinum."

While Jaguar says the concept was built to showcase the XJ's "customization potential", speculation suggests the car is a thinly veiled XJR. It is expected to feature a supercharged 5.0-liter V8 with 510 hp (380 kW / 517 PS) instead of the 470 hp (351 kW / 477 PS) version used in the concept.

jaguar is in a dilemma ... they always built very prestigious and noble cars but nobody seems to buy those anymore i guess ... but that car seems not like a solution to me looks like a pretty miserable imitation of a bunch of sports cars

think its a class design. Wacky but just a concept. I wouldn't mind seeing this in production as a limited edition but i would change the low profile tyres as they are a bit too over the top, it would just give it a rock solid ride with no ride comfort. They have done it with the XF black so i take it, it may not be far off the new XJ. 5 out of 5

like it a lot think Jag is trying to show rich americans that you can custom this car. like take it to west coast customs. i can see why in england they wont like it cuz they dont customize there cars this way. it just to make it look like it was on pimp my ride. it would look better with just chrome wheels
