Shooting Sports Alliance (SSA) Steel Madness Night match. Norco California, Jan. 2, 2010.
Stage #1 had a couple car headlights shinning into the shooters direction and Police Light to distract the shooter and make it harder to see some of the targets with the lights shinning into the shooter's eyes. The lights also interfered with our natural night vision, it usually takes about 20 minutes for the human eye to fully adjust to the dark. Smoke from shooting also would interfere with seeing some of the targets.
Stage #2 & #3 were completely dark. The only light available were from our flash lights, weapon lights, the IR light from the video camera.
Video camera was set to "Night Shot" mode (infra-red). So, it is looks more well lighted in the video than it was for the shooters.
Shooter is: REDHORSE
Rifle: Eagle Arms AR-15 with a RRA 9mm flat top upper conversion. Optics: Aimpoint ML2
