Erg goed dit! Prachtig eerbetoon, dit soort muziek moet echt op de kaart blijven staan.

That 's not the conductor, but Peter Stöve, our arranger in those days. This was our second performance....
Well spotted though! grts Bernard

I don't think the Goodman band needed a conductor!! Like the band.

Bernard, ga er mee door! Deze muziek mag niet stil vallen. Hopelijk komen er meer van dit soort bigbands er bij.

Wow... You are amazing... I never knew benny did that after listening to him for awhile...
Thats exactly what I like to do with my solos. But unfourtunately I had been forced out of jazz band in HS because of lack of clarinet music... I can still remember my 8th grade band solos...
I am a junior in HS, do you think I should try to re-join jazz? Personally I have been really longing jazz again but have never had a chance to get into it. Do you think I've taken too long? And do you have any tips?

Hi Bernard!!! You´re really good in this performance. I have read also that BG used to prepare his solos but in any case here you are spectacular , as always by the way!!!! :o)

I close my eyes and it seems I'm seeing the Benny Goodman playing great interpreter ... you could come here in brasil ... how do you learn to play well ... big hug Alessandro
You improvise exactly like Goodman would

Because I love his style so much, and because I read that Goodman used to meticulously work out his solos, I copied his 1936 solo! So you're right. What you're hearing are Goodman's notes!
