@CrisVangel Thanks for your review of my video and your comment. It is indeed a unique and interesting record as it represents the beginning of recorded music in America. From the angle of the camera, it is difficult to see the angle of the needle, but it is set to the factory spec for the Victrola, roughly 30 degrees before lower dead center. The reproducer fits on the tonearm the only way it can and as designed and is as far forward as allowed. This was a one-time exercise for the video.

the bottom part of the needle should come forward a little bit (the records last longer if there is more of an angle), the way your playing this will cut up the grooves faster than anything!! Great song tho, and wow just imagining how old this is makes my head spin! Very cool!
