The new Ford Focus is laden with technology. The Driver Assistance Pack, a £750 option in the UK, uses a forward-facing infra-red camera mounted in front of the rearview mirror to relay all the information from the road ahead. This includes traffic signs (which are then relayed onto the trip computer in front of you) to white lines, which when combied with Lane Keeping Assist, prevents you from accidentally drifting into another lane. This video was filmed live on my iPhone at the European launch of the new 2011 Ford Focus.
