Here's another track by the blessed Bunk, taken from the same vinyl as "See See Rider" (See previous notes).
He WAS an exceptional, lyrical, player when the situation gave him the chance, wasn't he?
I have found it difficult to find a good photograph of Jim Robinson, who was such a regular compliment to the early Bunk tracks. The "group" photo I have used here is the best I can do, as it does show Jim, nearest the camera, pretty clearly.
Enjoy!!

  • just so beautifull music!!if anyone can listen to this and not tap their feet they havnt got soul.

  • If Bunk was playing like this at an advanced age for a trumpeter, with false teeth,I can well imagine how he must have sunded in his best years.A lyrical musician when at his best.Thank you for the clips

  • I'm in the same boat with you bluesman only I have a knot in my heart and wanting to cry !! lol

  • Thank you so much for getting this music to the younger generations with the history and comments. Due to the decline in in popular music this history is so important. I sometimes sit with tears in my eye's this so beautiful. Of course I am a sentimental old man but my music taste is spot on.

  • @treacleisold haha Amen!

  • this is awsome music, what a trumpet player he just blows them all away. To think he could have been lost to us . Thanks MoleDFigg , keep them coming if you have anymore
