uh im from us and love the sort, but we didnt invent the name soccer, actully the english did, but if you knew anthing about the sport its called asoiation rules football abreveted soccer so it wouldnt coinside with rugby rules football, the name didnt catch on but as other sports named football came to be her ein the us, canada, italy, and asutralia to name a few, soccer is used
