  • @blakkelure yes in actuality it is, it's softer than the extreme communism, it has the same foundation and similar goals. Democracy is even closely related to socialist principals, which is why we must remember we are a Republic which in essence should consider democracy to be quite socialist.  We have to remember the reality that socialism is very attractive on paper, but real life proves it to be much less free. Remember that what the government gives it can take away

  • The reason why Americans dislike Socialism is because they have a bunch of corrupt people that is elected into office. The richest and voted the best country to live in is a socialistic democratic country. The difference is that its not rotten to the core like the US with the corporate money sticking out of every elected politician's pockets.
