well, alot of ww2 medics picked up weapons, refused to wear the target hemet... like my 3ad decorated uncle.. and cleared the area to treat the fallen...

very real..nisei soldier? 422 regimental combat team..one of the most decorated outfits in wwii..

part of the keystone division from Pa. 28 div (?) motto was GO FOR BROKE..became famous when they relieved " the lost battalion"
