@BDOG9979 Trimming nails is all that should be done, I do it every 2 weeks training them when they are kittens. In the US you 'can' declaw still, but many vets are moving away from it all the same. My 16 yr old is declawed and has horrible arthritis in her front feet. It is illegal in many countries to declaw due to the pain, long term complications, and even behavior problems.

ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL! God bless your family.

@chriswooten57 No, that is most certainly NOT a 'universal sign'. The shelters around where I am, and where we got our cat has a much more humane method. While under anesthesia, the inside of the ear gets a small tattoo. A cat could easily lose an ear tip, or have it tattered by accident or fight, negating your mutilation to the ear.

@GooglFascists Gee, you underwhelm me with your condolences.

This is normal for a bengal to talk like this. My one year old started this just recently. An inside cat lives longer, is heathier and happy. You can always take them outside. My bengal walks in a harness with a leash and she is still able to climb and be free. I have seen too many stray cats that are going hungry, hurt all the time and get diseases. We need to take care of our animals. Inside is safe.

My cat made that noise when seeing a reflection from a mirror or CD.

@Katicus79 I work with feral cats. The universal sign that a feral has been spay or neutered is to tip it's left ear. The vet will cut the top point of the left ear off. Then if animal control picks up a feral with a left ear tip in my county they call our local rescue to come pick it up....if we can not find it colony, or if the colony does not have a caregiver..then we relocate that feral into our colony. The acclimation period takes at least 3 weeks.

I have a bengal cat and a blue point siamese. Bengals are playful, cuddly and verrry fast or swift on their feet. And Siamese cats, Hate 2 b held, playful and fast. :) I <3 cats! lol Thumbs up if u agree :D

@peaceflmeadow Sorry about your pet but that's good to know.
You pay $2,000 for a Bengal cat and it catches a rare bacteria
the vet can't do anything about and dies. Think we'll stick with
a stray alley cat or some neighbor who has kittens for free.
In this economy $2,000 isn't something to be thrown away.
Aww How did Asia pass away? :(

@MsJess6641 a rare disease called dysatonomia. They 'think' it is caused by a bacteria that reacts oddly in some rare cases and causes problems with the autonomic nervous system.

My Bengal is a nut and super needy. He plays fetch with me with a straw for a hour every day and is sweet as pie, most of the time. Gets excited some times and bites. If you get one be prepared. Lots of puncture wound/scars on my arms.

@habanerat I don't know what it is about straws, by my two bengal gals LOVE them. Alarm goes off in the AM and within minutes here comes my gal with a straw for a fetching session. Silly beasts
