Hey I just bought a Bolun Wireless 601 Mic and the transmitter that plugs into your camera has a 1/4 (just like a guitar cable) plug in on the end of it to plug into your camera. My camera does not have a microphone input but it does have an AV out. Will it work with an adapter with the av out or can I use a 3.5mm adapter and plug it into an iPhone and have it work with the camera on there?

you give advice like a pro, sir. but what type of software are you using? are there any free softwares that would be good to use?

If you use Final Cut Pro X is extremely easy to sync audio and video. Check this video:

helped me a lot thnx
Rick - this is great. I have the H4n, which is superb. I have a miniDVD camera with no mic input.
Is there some way of electronically syncing? Some USB connection perhaps?
Or using software to auto sync?
I do short YT vids and I don't really want to do much editing.
Also, I use OpenSource software, which is buggy and hard to use. Any recommendations?

@calmreason Very tricky. this is the only way I know of if you can't plug the mic into your camcorder.

Well, what if I have recorded a video and due to lag, the audio/video are not synced? How would I fix that?

@ultradude100 You need to clap at the start and at the end of each recording, then adjust the speed of the video (or audio) until the two spikes match up.
