Sandra Bullock (Best Actress 2010) in "Crash" (Best Motion Picture 2006), written and directed by Paul Haggis.

"...It's the sense of touch. In any real city, you walk, you know? You brush past people, people bump into you. In L.A., nobody touches you. We're always behind this metal and glass. I think we miss that touch so much, that we crash into each other, just so we can feel something..."

The song playing at the end is "In the Deep" by Kathleen Bird York.

  • I love Sandy Bullock. Great actress smart funny beautiful and her smile could melt icebergs. She has everything going on for her and I must mention she adopted and American kid, she did not go to africa or china, We have A lot lot of beautiful children in our country that need parents. Who cares if the baby is white, black, purple or green, that is one lucky baby and he is going to have a wonderful life with his new Mommy. Bravo Sandra!!!!!!!!!

  • I wake up like this and I dont know why? Mad all the time. Why? Why are people so mad all the time? I recently saw this older lady driving her car in the left had turning lane and because she could not make that turn she started to beat the crap out of the steering wheel. Why is everyone so mad?

  • @Mooosical if u hate her character in this movie, this means she did a great job, right!!!

  • @moosical thats what i love about this movie and all the actors in it. i hated her until she hugged her housekeeper and told her she was her best friend...that scene always chokes me up..

  • I totally felt like it was happening to me n the scene Jean-Maria 8:28 to 9:14. And I realized my house keeper is my best friend. No kitting.

  • @klausweasley What we mean is that she acted really good because she portraid the character so well... but in real she's not like that she's just acting.(:

  • Well...first of all, I think this is a great movie, performance wise (especially Sandra Bullock! I love her/hate her character). But I've got to wonder if this really portrays what actually happens in reality. I mean, is everyone *that* racist ALL THE TIME? I sure hope not :P

  • I would like to see her do more roles like this one...

  • @klausweasley Um, yeah? Because guess what, whatever environment you are in can affect how you feel about things. LA is a hostile place and being there could have turned her into the racist bitch she is. It's happened to me on occasion. I live in a rude, unfriendly, hostile city as well, completely different from where I came from, and when I get mad sometimes I can let an epithet fly. It doesn't mean I'm racist, it means I'm in a city that makes my head want to explode.
