"The 3R60’s EBS securely provides up to 15° knee flexion at heel strike." I'm looking into the 3R60 for myself now. I like how the 3R80 works, but I want a knee with a bit more flexion for meditation. Can you flex the knee if you are starting without doing any thing weird? I go step over step when going down stairs, if the knee locks, it is actually more dangerous for me because of how fast I am going.

Yes it's an excellent knee - really fantastic for going down steep slopes - it just locks but with a bent knee.
Not the best knee for coming down steps as you can see in the video, but i've been using this knee for nearly a year and really like it.
