We are stuck between Scylla of Democratic totalitarianism and the Charybdis of Republican authoritarianism, their only difference is the reason they oppress the population. Progressivism is just a 'conservative' as Conservatism it is just presented in a different manner.

Has anyone thought that Obama is actually for it but his calumniate members (who are pretty much the presidencies motives for everything) just said hes not so they can continue the prohibition?

@alexsloanemusic I notice the LP doesn't get a lot of hits on YouTube either, though, and I think it comes down to the fact the the Party hasn't managed to capture the public's imagination. Their intellectual arguments are excellent, but you don't get a lot of attention aiming for the head instead of the heart.

@ArtificialLifef0rm We could have more support, but since the Democrats and Republicans own all the media, they continually take measures to prevent any other 3rd parties from gaining media attention. We're stuck in bipartisanism. If we could find a way to make the people listen to us, I have no doubt in my mind that they'd seriously consider what we have to say.

Sucks that you are such a small party though LP. I'm not american but I would vote for you if I was. I actually have a hard time understanding why you don't have bigger public support. I mean, your ancestors wanted your nation to be a land of the free when they founded it - but instead it has turned into a corporate conservative state. And the worst part is that people - americans in general - doesn't seem to care that much about liberty anymore. Conservatism is more important it seems...
