  • Nice review, thanks for the vid, appreciated. Just where out on the web would one go to see a selection of such knives for sale? ( I know I could search, but you may have a link to save time ?) Thanks for your effort you put into your vids, 5X5

  • @reasoning777

if your in the US, Bensbackwoods, in the UK you want Hennie Hays :)

  • Thanks for the info, very much appreciated, I did think to myself - go search 4 yourself you lazy halfwit so I did find Kellam Home Page, Very nice indeed eh! I didn't think of HH though. Appreciated. Steve

  • @reasoning777

    no problem mate,

yeh HH will give you the best price and delivery, see the reveiw written their, another of mine:) unfortunatley they only let you write a certain ammount of words.

  • Well cant argue with that for a knife review on HH, My 'problem', if it is one, is, the cost of this knife through HH for instance, is very near my self imposed limit on spend total and there are soooooo many nice drool-able knives in that price range ! haha decisions, oh, decisions ! By thwe time I get one made (decision that is), the Bl**dy £ will have devalued! lol!

  • @reasoning777

if you get one of these you will have it for life, personaly its the best stick tang ive ever used, the handle makes it a pleasure to use.

Its a sure keeper, best ive found at this price, the only better performer i have is my Custom.

  • Do you have little scratches/cuts on the inside the lip of the sheath? The part that the blade faces? I have a few on mine and I'm wondering if I'm the only one.

    Thanks

  • If you were to use a leuku with a puukko for bushcraft, what would be the best blade size for the puukko?

  • The Wolverine is most definitely a brilliant knife! I purchased mine 2 years ago and never go into the woods without it. The steel is easy to keep sharp and the knife will outperform knives twice its size and cost. Glad you bought yourself one, they're simply fantastic!

  • Siberian, love the reviews. But I do have one question for you! Can you use the back of the spine on the Wolverine to spark a fire in combination with a firesteel? I was wondering whether the SPT prevents firelighting..?

  • How does it compare to aMora 711 or a Mora triflex. Is this knife 'stronger/tougher'?Or are they similar..

  • @MyWizard9 ,it doesnt surprise me that it outcuts knives twice the size.I have this experience too with my Mora triflex and #711.They are better cutters than most knives ,in my opinion, and VERY handfriendly (Important !!).But this Wolverine is a special one. This one would be a knife Kullervo himself would have liked.... ;-)

  • Excellent review Fury, I liked your using the word "brilliant" to describe this knife. I've owned one for 2 years and it always goes in with me as a backup. It will out cut knives twice its size! It has helped me become a more proficient bushcrafter. Thanks again!

  • I live by my wolverine, The company is wonderful to deal with as well.

  • @Lamofilo oo err
