The ACLU is trying to fight for your civil rights, plain and simple. They came to a local school because a student wouldn't say the "under god" clause of the pledge. I support their message of civil liberties.

I'm a Christian and understand the importance of freedom of religion. But it is clearly stated in the constitution that there will be no law prohibiting you from practicing you religion. In your own home or building or church. This country is not obligated to recognize any religion.

I am a Christian .. I believe in the 14th Amendment that protects the freedom of religion. When you take prayer out of a Town Meeting .. or out of the class room what about the student that wanted to say a prayer .. or the adult that wanted to say a prayer before a Town Meeting. .

The American Communist Lawyers Union has a twisted interpretation of our freedoms. The aclu is a private organization started in 1920, and it is not part of the government. They have no right whatsoever to tell us what we can and can't do in this country, and most of what they say is false.

Inciting Communism? So what you are saying is that it is illegal to be a Communist and promote a Socialist state? I wasn't aware that I was living in Post WWII 1950s America. What's next? Blacks have to go to a separate school than whites? Is it ok if the National Guard opens fire on peaceful protests because they were just "hippies"? Go back to Nazi Germany, you fascist.
