  • Are there many hot Korean girls and is it easy to hook up with them.

  • there are TONS of HOT!!! korean girls....

and you can definitely hook up

    the ease of which depends

    on your game i guess : )

many of my friends have hot korean girlfriends

but there's also lots of really cool

    western girls too...

  • i don't know much about seoul,

    but it's the same deal...

    free apartments, so...

    maybe food's more expensive...

ps. my bike was 250 cash done

no monthly payments of any kind

    good luck !

  • depending on how you live,

    you can still save alot...

cost of living is really cheap

    no rent...

so it's really all up to you,

    how much you wanta save...

    i'm still savin $1000/month,

but i just don't go out drinkin much anymore

  • Hey man great video. :) I've been thinking about doing this after I get out of college, but I'm still debating where I want to teach abroad. I originally thought Japan which is the usual choice I'd say for people in general. Uhh. But Jeju Island is a vacation spot, is it still ok living there with all the tourists? Well technically you are "kind of" a tourist lol. But you know what I mean.. Take care, and good luck! :)

  • you'd hardly ever notice a tourist unless you live near a resort on the south side japan would be fun with the economy now, i'd do some up-to-date research on the money side for example, korea was, by far, the best place to work money-wise but now, with the exchange rate, i don't know another fun resort place would be Okinawa, Japan it's gets cold here in the winter which last 5 months but june-october is Great!

  • We've started a TEFL social network where we are trying to build a community of TEFL teachers around the world to meet and share experiences and tips. If anyone is interested take a look at tefl-me.com. It covers lots of areas and has a blog, forum groups individual profiles and a map to indicate your location in the world to help you meet other TEFL teacher when you are on the other side of the world. We have a group relating to Korea including discussions about first timers in korea & culture.

  • Teaching English in Korea is not necessarily cool. There is a strong chance you can get screwed over by your employer, and the government won't care. Now, mind you, if you have a good employer like he did, they will pay you every month and on time. You can save a lot of money as he said. It's better to work for a public school. The salary is more like 2.2 million won starting, I would say right now if not more. I have not checked lately.

  • @kkpaek 2-4 years of college :3

  • @hellosandycho 2-4 years of college. :3

  • Your so cute BodhiOceans,

wish you were either bi or at least gay...beautiful eyes

    and very hot smile man

  • Are you Canadian?

  • Hey BodhiOceans thanks for posting this video. I'm heading off to Jeju-do in a month or so to teach and it's great to hear about the experiences that other G.E.T.s have been having.

I'm glad there's no weed there (hate the stuff), it definitely sounds like a nice place to be. How did you find the local level of spoken English? Is it a big barrier to communication or are most people fluent enough to be comprehensible?

  • Man, someone could bring seeds over and grow your own happy smoke. The korean police probably wouldn't even know what it was. lol

  • @ihahahayou HAHAHA. Americans his age, like me, most likely won't be able to depend on S.S. anyway by the time we retire because we won't get nearly enough to cover cost of living.

  • hey thanks for the info, sounds like your having a great time. What motorcycle did you get? and how much to buy one there? i've tried to google but i can't find any prices, thanks.

  • Do you have to have a bachelor's degree to teach in Korea?

  • interesting video man,

im a korean born in australia and im considering going to korea after i graduate high school or uni to teach there just for experience

do you need any teaching experience to become a teacher in korea?

  • This is what i want to do in life.

  • thanks for posting this! I'm planning on teaching in korea when i finish my degree this fall.
