Say hello to the DragonTail from Solarbotics - a simple robot platform for all your robot platformin' needs. Basically, we set you up with a nifty aluminum base, acrylic top and a front panel with a range of mounting holes for some servos with wheels, an omni-direction caster/roller, and a battery pack.
This video presents the DragonTail + Electronics bundle assembled together and programmed to avoid obstacles. Stay tuned until the end where we do a drop test from 5 feet. The Arduino source code available under the resources tab of each of these products on the Solarbotics website.
