This is an animation about a maneuver platform to perform test in model ships and boats. It was developed to a platform simulation view. For a greater realism, and a better platform global and specific view, it was used textures, lighting Gourand shadow model, transparency and a set of strategically positioned cameras. The kinematics and dynamic platform models, which has five degrees of freedom, was implemented in MatLab using the Euler-Lagrange formality for the dynamic and Euler angles for the kinematics. The scenario was modeled using the OpenGL API and GLU library (excepting the platform that was done using a graphical modeler - 3D Studio Max), while the simulator interactivity was implemented using the GLUT library.
