The way that bird took you I would have paid 10 million to have it. You are obviously fantastic with birds. That one certainly took to you and loved you instantly. What a adorable video it shows how affectionate and fun birds are.

@ztrawhcs 500 is way to much for a sun conure they typically go for an average of 200 and ppl sell em cheap too

@jackrusselsrulz The smaller birds are so much more fun than macaws. Macaws require so much work. :0. Yes, I speak from experience. I have 1 quaker, 1 macaw and 1 amazon. small, med, and large... The smallest is very entertaining...the larger they get. The more work, and you can't take them as many places. :-0

This was the PetCo in Washington, DC. If you really want to get a sun conure, however, I recommend you find a reputable breeder. Pet stores are notoriously risky places to buy birds, and Rudy had some health problems when I first got him (though luckily he's okay now).

I love your bird,Rudy, it is so special, I can't believe that it was so playful, relax, and trusted you the first time it saw you. Your bird is just awesome all together. I had saw your other videos of Rudy, and I had fell in love with him right away, now seeing this video makes me more in love with your bird. I have a sun conure name Roxie and she is my life and wouldn't trade her for anything. I love seeing your videos of Rudy and hope to keep seeing more!!!!

My bird is truly awesome, and he was very comfortable with me from the first time he saw me. But that wasn't the first time; I had been coming into the store every week or two for about five months, and we always chatted through the bars. But this IS the first time I ever held him. :-)
