This was filmed by a friend of mine whom showed it to me later and thought you guys would like to see my performance of this song, we played around with some of it. Hope you like it - it was performed at 'The Park Hotel' with my cousin Mathew Hunt who played for me.

  • The tric with this song id dynamics which u dont seem to use/have

  • ah right, thanks... I guess. I do have the ability to use dynamics, that would be foolish to do otherwise. This was simply a concert performance of the song, I was not THE PHANTOM. It was simply me singing the score. Thank you.

  • Hi. I'm one of those obsessive people out there who likes "Phantom".

You are AMAZING. You sing VERY well. However, there are a few things you can do to improve. First off, as ALW himself puts it, you need to put yourself in the place of the Phantom. You need to imagine that you are, in fact, singing to the most beautiful woman you have ever seen. Emotion IS necessary for the song to "take flight", or else it doesn't sound right. Secondly, the high A flat "BE!" is forte. Great job, though...

  • i could listen to your voice all day. love <3

  • Ive commented on so many of your videos already but they just keep getting better!! Amazing jobb

  • Great job. You have a wonderful voice.

  • hey man

    gr8 job

may i ask was "be" and to "soar" in your headvoice or falsetto?

  • Hey!

You really do have a great voice; very mature and professional.

I too am a singer, and if you don't mind, I'd like to say that I think you should swap the intensity of your voice on 'soar' and 'be', respectively...the two high notes. 'Soar' (in my humble opinion) should float like your 'be' did, and 'be should have the intensity you gave 'soar'.

Perhaps you sang them the way you did on purpose, and pondered these options prior! But just saying.

Either way, you are very talented!

  • Stunning, simply stunning. :)

  • that was so stunning this is my favorite song and looked so at ease singing unlike many ive seen perform this

  • You're better than the Phantom I saw in the West End. Seriously, dude you have talent! :]

  • yep dude, as i suspeted, another brill performance! i'm not going to criticise you cos tbh my opinion is irrelavant and i have no expert training myself so it would be hypocritical to do so:)

love it:) i really love the tone of your voice!

    xxx
