when i sent scribbled sketches to spitting image, geoffrey perkins used them and sent back kind criticism of those he did not...my only brush with comedy greatness

I went to school with Geoff Perkins. His talent was there for all to see then, and he was a great double act with Clive Anderson. He was a gentleman nearly 40 years ago and, by all accounts, carried that attribute throughout his life. R.I.P.

Is that Father Ted song the best ever?? Geoffrey Perkins thank you. Clive Anderson said people either really liked him or really loved him. a fitting tribute.

Goodnight and God bless you for all the comedy you brought to us from both yourself and those you worked with. as a student I watched some of the Radio Active Stuff being recorded and I have never laughed so much before or since. For Hitch-Hiker's, Radio Active, KYTV, Father Ted and everything thank you. Comedy is a poorer world without you.

Geoffrey, you were a great encourager. When I was a struggling young radio comedy writer (as oppossed to a middle aged one!) you were one of the few people to be kind (or even acknowledge my scripts!). Thank you for that.
My friend Eddie Nelson played the organ at your wedding and was as sorry as i was to hear of your death. We ssnd our condolences to your family, but I am quite sure you are recieving this in another dimension.
