We tried this bugaboo bee stroller for a week. After about 4 days, the front wheels would no longer work. The stroller could not turn properly or even go straight. We tried different surfaces such as asphalt, vinyl, marble, carpet and much more and nothing worked. Our little girl nearly got killed getting stuck in doorways and on elevators. The Bugaboo bee gets 5 our of 5 Crappy Awards for being the worst travel stroller. Don't put your kids in this dangerous stroller. We traveled through Newark Airport and found the wheels to randomly act up, skid, shimmy, and not turn properly. This is a known problem for Bugaboo yet they continue to make bad products. What is wrong with them? I am not paying $700 for a stroller that I have to fix! The company claims that this is caused by heavy weight. Our baby weighs 10 lbs! Congratulations to Bugaboo Bee for being the worst and crappiest stroller ever built. In fact they take the cake for having the highest price to crap ratio, the PC ratio, that is. Well done Bugaboo.

  • yeah, it's not so much that we got a lemon that is annoying but rather the way bugaboo and babesta DID NOT want to take responsibility to fix the issue, and were not keen on taking the stroller back. Very bad reaction to expect us to fix it if we want to return or exchange it.

  • We had this too. There is a recall on the jan - sept 2011 versions, contact bugaboo direct for new wheels.

btw, we also had shreding back wheels too AND the front wheels locking, plus a rattling chasis. :(

  • Mine works perfectly. I am afraid you are unlucky to get a lemon.

  • I would not buy this stroller.

  • Bugaboo have had issues with the Bee front wheels. They changed the housing inside the wheel as this issue was quite common.

I suggest you contact the retailer you got this from, or contact Bugaboo direct and explain the issues you are having. The pushchair is not 'Crap' they have just had some problems recently.

  • with wheels on a non symmetrical pivot you often have to get them in a fwrd motion alignment before you can turn,,, that and try lubing them

  • I had this problem too and the solution is simple. Just take out the front wheels, put some vaseline on the metal part and stick them back in, it should work like a charm. Hope I could help !

  • this is really bad. So sorry about that.
