@911TruthSeeker91 I think the bit from 3:40 to 4:00 sounds like the score from Jurassic Park IMHO.

I can totally see myself riding a horse off to battle when I hear this music

@Tacom4ster Re-read your comment there. Makes no sense whatsoever. ;)

You're right. My sons were better men.

@ClassicalMonarchism You be trollin'?
-
@ClassicalMonarchism I agree with everything you just said there.
-
@Tacom4ster That doesnt even make sense. did you mean "they may take our lives, but they'll never take our independence day" ?
-
@Mikefreed9241 At least the music is good.

Mel's role in this movie and Braveheart are completely identical. Interesting. At first he's a simple farmer in both films who doesn't want to fight. But is later provoked to fight by the death of a loved one. The only difference however, is that in Braveheart Mel dies, here he doesn't.

not quite. i admit both are good fighters, farmers, lovers, guerilla leaders and smart officers, and lovers that lose wives and loved ones. but not quite the same. same situations, but ben martin has a family and is more of a family man and less of a brute. more civilized.

No No NO! Damn it! I haven't seen Braveheart yet and you just ruined it for me. :( Well I guess it serves me right for reading your comment. haha. Is it good at least?

well you cant really be blamed for getting the plot ruined for you, just an accident. i had it worse once, i was watching a vid on the Dark knight, and saw a comment that gave away the fact of rachel dying and the joker surviving before i had seen it. sucked for me. but as to Braveheart, i think its a great epic movie, a classic masterpiece. its not exactly historically accurate, but the history of william wallace is rather cloudy and uncertain. i dont care, though, i think its a powerful film.

Happy 4th of July to America and all you americans. Remember the amazing founding fathers and the brave and resourceful men and women that fought to free our country all those years ago, and made it what it is today. Think of this piece as a slice of our past culture and as a way of taking you back that past over 200 years ago, and remember how far we've come since then.
