A section of the movie A Knight's Tale made into a Lego animation. I used the old styled "castle" Lego as the setting for the animation. It is done with Maya 8.0, Ldraw, Vegas 5.0, photoshop and Polytrans.
wow amazing and lolz cuz i was watching the movie at the same time (it was playing on history television) and i went like... wait...what... this...that...wtf...the...same movie... WTF! AMAZING!
very very very impressed. great job. love the movie, love this animation. just wondering though, how long did this take you? and did you have to make the characters yourself in maya or were there premade ones? i wanna start using maya. i have tried 3d max and that was just a blast trying to model things in haha. anyways, great job!
Thanks dude! Took me about a month. I did use Maya then but now i work on 3ds Max...i'd prefer it now that i know it. Everything i made from scratch. I built one legoman rig, and coverted that one to all the other characters. Still my biggest job i worked alone on.
