  • Ass to grass is a another workout and should only be 1/2 your maximum power squat. It works on the outer quads and the muscle right above the knee, which helps with lifting your leg, and its good for motion in the knee. Too much weight on full squat can fuck up your knee (torn meniscus). So parallel for max, and full squat for half

  • just go parallel if u do the "ass to grass" that will mess up your knees

  • 16 year olds that squat down 4 inches with weight that can barely even roll on the ground dont count

  • That is a good squat. Its a powerlifting style squat and thats how low I go. If you have goals for powerlifting keep it up.

  • Dude, i wish i eas flexible to go ass to ankles. I'm 15 years old and always get critisized for my depth. i say 90 degrees, or parallel, is good but everyone always says "ass to grass". most of my friends say they just don't like it when i out squat everyone in my class. but what do u think? that guy goes basically how low i go. thats good right?
