@TheRexster If you have cokroaches, it is from not going on for 2 weeks or so. just go on. save. Time travel 2 next day. Repeat for a few times.

@TheRexster You pay off your mortgage from Tom Nook. You can deposit Bells by going to the Town Hall and going to the red mat that has a letter on it and you talk to Pelly and she will give you some options, but you click on the pay mortgage one.
