  • @TheLegendarySkeptic I wouldn't assert that it's nonsense because first of all our universe is a pretty weird place to begin with i.e. black holes, big bang, quantum mechanics, gravity, etc. So what makes you think life is a "Newtonian" phenomena?

  • Now, science has evolved to the point where hard facts and evidence may be able to provide us with answers instead of philosophical theories.

Through the Wormhole brings together the brightest minds and best ideas from the very edges of science Astrophysics, Astrobiology, Quantum Mechanics, String Theory, and more to reveal the extraordinary truth of our Universe.

  • Why is every wormwhole vid is so short 2 min

  • In my dreams I can fly like superman, in reality I cannot. Thats all.

  • if wormhole theory is true.. ^^ its probably awesome ^^

  • i'm an atheist but i have to confess i had similar insights about the nature of consciousness when doing salvia divinorum. this theory does appeal to my intuition. it makes some sense tbh

  • [continued again] So, they mention consciousness has the brain processing areas in tandem with others, while when it is apparently absent the brain does not correlate those things. A close analogy of what I mean might be found in the way computers work. Our consciousness is an operating system. It transforms info into code, code into programs and programs into operations (thus the name "operating system," right?). Zeroes and ones. Perhaps this vessel is not yet able to know/see spirit code

  • [continued from previous] The consciousness "reboots" upon awakening or returning upon sufficient brain activity, reads the various synapses and neurological reactions/events and attempts to construct sense out of it. There was no consciousness during that time. Brain activity didn't indicate it, as far as I know. Awareness is suspended or on standby or hibernating. Whatever. When it "comes back" it merely builds meaning and connections to those possibly random chemical processes made.

  • I watched this full episode and there were a few things I found which I'm not sure they addressed. Speculation was made as to where the consciousness "goes" during sleep, while also applying that idea to near death experiences. The consciousness we know may very well be shut off during such times, but once restarted fabricates imagery and matrixing in order to sort and instill continuity to existence. [continued...]
