I am driving through the new Airport tunnel in Dubai, it's huge and it was worth waiting for.

Actually this is the reason
Dubai Airport was going under A huge Expanding and Building Bigger Runway So they had to take that area, and that area is an active road so they build this tunnel which runs under one of the runway and the Royal Hanger

yup thats true when the tunnel was opened there were many accidents.but then a speed limit of 80 km/h was put in place, and it became much safer since then

do you even know how unsafe that tunnel is? tons of accident.

the tunnel might be like any road, they are all the same, the problem is that it is very tempting to drive fast there, but a while ago they installed speed cameras in the tunnel.
It seems that it solved the problem.
