yo yo yo. so what if i want to use vm fusion to get my 2008 macbook pro up to 8 gigs of ram, would i have to change settings for it to know i have 8 gigs of memory on my mac osx and windows so i could have the ability to use windows 7 64 bit and osx
??? please any advice would help, if needed automotive advice is on deck.

Ya Linux and Windows both can run vmWare Player
VirtualBox is better and it's free. Linux has have VirtualBox for years...
Linux also has CrossOver, and WINE...

would you install windows on the vmware after you install the vmware or does it come with the windows operating system

get parallel for mac. i saw them at staples one. if only they had parallel for vista so you could go on mac on a vista.

yeah, if you get a virus on the virtual machine (XP), then it won't affect Mac OSX. if you don't want your virtual machine to be affected by a virus, then maybe virus protection should be considered.

Is that really true what he said about viruses not affecting a Mac system? I just installed my xp virtual machine the other day and I saw online somewhere that you should still get virus protection for it.
